Introduction:
The North Omaha Visitors Center (NOVC) seeks a dynamic and innovative company to manage our brand development and identity. The selected company will play a pivotal role in establishing and promoting the NOVC’s visual aesthetics and messaging. This initiative aims to create a compelling and cohesive brand strategy that elevates public awareness, fosters community engagement, and encourages tourism, contributing significantly to the local economy.

Our Mission is to be a premier destination that captures and showcases the essence of North Omaha’s rich heritage and vibrant community. We aspire to create a welcoming space that facilitates touring, charters, and events, making North Omaha a sought-after destination for both long-time residents and global visitors. By focusing on these activities, we aim to drive sustainable tourism, boost the local economy, and reinforce North Omaha’s role as a dynamic cultural and economic hub.

The North Omaha Visitors Center is dedicated to celebrating and showcasing the richness and pride of North Omaha. Our mission is to serve as a central hub for touring, charters, and partnering with events that highlight the area’s cultural heritage, historical significance, and local achievements. We aim to work closely with museums, businesses, restaurants, retail outlets, and organizations to put North Omaha on the map as a destination for both locals and global visitors.
We are committed to supporting local small businesses by featuring their products, such as trinkets, clothing, and desserts, in our center. Our local tours and event planning services provide unique, one-of-a-kind experiences that showcase the distinctive food, merchandise, and stories of North Omaha. All our initiatives are designed to strengthen the local economy while enriching the community’s cultural and economic vitality.
Lastly, the North Omaha Visitors Center strives to create a space that is a source of pride, developed by and for the community. This approach ensures that the Center highlights the area’s unique offerings while fostering a sense of ownership and pride among North Omaha residents.
Scope of Work:
- Brand Strategy Development:
- Develop a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the NOVC’s mission and vision.
- Identify key target audiences and create tailored messaging strategies.
- Visual Identity and Messaging:
- Design a distinctive visual identity, including logo, color schemes, typography, and other visual elements.
- Craft clear and consistent messaging that communicates the NOVC’s offerings and values.
- Marketing and Awareness Plan:
- Create a strategic marketing plan to spread awareness about the NOVC and its contributions to the community.
- Develop and implement promotional campaigns to highlight local attractions, businesses, dining options, accommodations, and events.
- Content Creation:
- Produce high-quality brochures, guides, maps, and souvenirs that reflect the NOVC’s brand identity.
- Create educational materials that inform visitors about the cultural and historical significance of North Omaha.
- Community Engagement:
- Develop initiatives to engage local residents and businesses, fostering a sense of pride and involvement in the NOVC.
- Promote the NOVC’s role in empowering the North Omaha corridor through tourism and economic development.
- Launch and Implementation:
- Plan and execute a brand launch event, introducing the NOVC’s new visual identity and products.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure the brand’s successful implementation and sustainability.
- Outcome Expectations:
- Execution of a comprehensive marketing plan.
- Creation of brochures and other print materials that effectively communicate the NOVC's offerings and values.
- Detailed cost breakdown for each area of work, including brand strategy, visual identity, marketing, content creation, community engagement, and launch/implementation.
Proposal Requirements:
- Company Profile:
- Overview of the company, including history, experience, and expertise in brand management and marketing.
- Relevant case studies and examples of previous work.
- Project Approach:
- Detailed description of the approach and methodology for developing and implementing the brand strategy and marketing plan.
- Timeline and milestones for each phase of the project.
- Team Composition:
- Introduction to the project team, including their roles, qualifications, and relevant experience.
- Budget:
- Comprehensive budget breakdown, including all costs associated with the project, with separate costs for each area of work.
- References:
- At least three brief descriptions and examples of projects completed.
- At least three references of past clients for this type or other types of projects.
Evaluation Criteria:
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Experience and expertise in brand management and marketing.
- Creativity and innovation in approach and methodology.
- Demonstrated connectivity to the surrounding community and experience working on projects within communities that share similar demographics and characteristics.
- Quality and relevance of previous work and case studies.
- Ability to meet project goals within the proposed timeline and budget.
